This has been a month of searing emotions, topped by the grief in connection with the mass shooting at the Orlando gay night club. It will be a long time before any of us begin to recover from that tragedy, and those victims won't be forgotten. I support continued efforts by legislators and government agencies to find solutions to this ongoing problem of completely senseless mass murders. I was honored to participate in a vigil at the Tracks night club in Denver with many highly respected public officials, and I found the speeches to be inspiring.
It is doubly hurtful that this tragedy occurred during Pride Month, just as folks here were planning this weekend's Pride Month parade at Cheesman Park.
I was endorsed by
One Colorado in May, and I will be marching in the parade this morning (9:30) with the Democractic Party and campaign supporters, in solidarity with their efforts. If you would like to join us, please send an email to
[email protected]. Or just show up! You'll find us and recognize us by our red-white-and-black Zenzinger Campaign T-shirts.
