Father's Day Coming Soon

But you do see! Indeed you note trouble and grief,

that you may take it into your hands;

the helpless commit themselves to you;

you have been the helper of the orphan.

PSALM 10:14

Gaining Some Insight

Don't forget this applies to all ages (college kids included!)

"June often arrives with celebration... the end of the school year, graduations, field days, summer plans, and Father’s Day tributes. But for some children, this month can carry a quiet weight.

🎓 Graduations and promotions, whether from preschool, elementary, or high school, are meant to be proud, happy moments. But for a grieving child, they can stir an aching absence.

Self Care Makes A Difference

Your Dollars At Work

All WPRP parents are encouraged to request self-care stipends. The number one predictor of how will a child will adjust to the loss of their parent is the functioning level of the surviving spouse. SELF CARE is essential to function at a level children need. Each month we ask parents to "fill their bucket" so they can come back to their children refreshed. Here are just a few feedback responses to some of our parents' stipends:

2025 Family Friendzy Recap

This year, we had 3 rounds to determine the Knoxville Village Champs. All teams raised funds leading into the event to give them mulitipliers on their athletic points.

In round 1, teams competed for athletic points in the 10 games offered in hopes to make the top 10 to go to the playoffs. Their points combined with their dollars raised to provide their ultimate score.Teams that did not qualify for the playoffs came alongside any playoff team of their choice to help them move into the top two teams for the championship relay race.

The Championship Round Relay Race comprised all 10 sports challenges plus a 70-ft inflatable obstacle course!

Teams could use any athletes willing to help them win, and once again, the reigning champs took the trophy home!

2025 Knoxville Village Champs:

Siege of Supporters

That's right, for the THIRD year in a row, Siege of Supporters won it all!

But awarded 'Most Athletic Team' was Conklin's Crew, who taunts next year they are taking Siege of Supporters down!

A special congratulations and thank you to Team Chicago who was back with vengeance! All the way from Chicago, once again, they placed runner-up in the championship relay race!

You made a GIANT impact to WPRP, Team Chicago!
