We look forward to our Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, March 28, from 8 to 10 am. Tickets are $12 each and can be purchased at the office. We'll be selling them after Masses in March.

We will also have raffle baskets available. All raffle basket items and Bunny Breakfast baskets need to be delivered to the shrine by Thursday, 3/12. They will be on display after mass on 3/15 for anyone who wants to buy tickets who won't be at the breakfast. Raffle tickets for the baskets are $5 for 7 tickets and $10 for 15.

OUR LADY OF FATIMA SHRINE Seeks Clothing Donations

Cleaning out your closets? You can now bring used clothing donations to 101 SUMMER STREET, HOLLISTON, where OUR LADY OF FATIMA has partnered with St. Pauly Textile Inc. to provide a wood-frame clothing drop-off shed for community use (see pictures).

This shed is designed to give community members a uniquely clean, convenient, and well-cared-for option to donate their used clothing to. St. Pauly Textile Inc. partners with businesses and various organizations to distribute donated items both here in the U.S. and worldwide, where they’re ultimately re-worn by people who need them. OUR LADY OF FATIMA SHRINE receives funding for donated clothing and additionally has the option to use donations to serve community needs.

With over 1,700 clothing drop-off sheds in place, St. Pauly Textile Inc. collects over 175,000 pounds of clothing a day and estimates that this clothing ends up in 44 different countries (including the U.S.) yearly. In 2025, the company was able to help keep over 78 million articles of clothing out of landfills, which clothed an estimated 10 million people worldwide. The company was founded in 1996 and is an A+ rated member of the Better Business Bureau.

Accepted items: clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, curtains, pillowcases, and stuffed animals.

A Sneek Peak into the New Website of Fatima Shrine

We'd like to invite you to explore our new website for Fatima Shrine. It is not quite complete but you will be able to book events here, see the news and activities of the shrine, sign up for the monthly e-newsletter, make donations, and eventually purchase mass cards and have masses said. You can still do all of these things with the office, but we hope providing these services online will make it easier for others, as well as invite those who may not be close to the shrine. The link is easy too, FatimaShrine.org. Many thanks to Bro. Kornel for his work on this.

The Metrowest Interfaith Community, a ministry of the Xaverian Missionaries, is offering an extraordinary interfaith encounter at Fatima Shrine. Neighbors of different faiths will gather with our Muslim friends for the traditional breaking of the days fast with prayer and a hearty Turkish meal. We will reflect on the bridges we need to make in our community in these polarized times. Our Catholic commitment and participation is crucial. Please join us if you wish. You can register here.
