One of my favorite works of art in the Museum is actually a place — the upstairs room graced by the Howard Pyle Murals. The ambiance is so soothing and peaceful. I love that visitors can peruse one of the illustrated books on the shelves there, but I sometimes bring my own book and settle in for a quiet time with whatever I’m reading. In a busy world and a (hopefully soon) busy Museum, it’s really a refuge.
