The Future of Work is Diverse, Inclusive, Just and Equitable

GlobalMindED closes the equity gap by creating a capable, diverse talent pipeline through connections to role models, mentors, internships for low-income students, returning adults, First Gen to college and inclusive leaders who teach them, work with them and hire them.
Only 1% of women have businesses in the U.S. earn more than 1 million dollars. Very few women get VC or investment capital. Our partners, WorldWideWomen, are focused on addressing these inequities which can be a model for better outcomes for female entrepreneurs here in the United States.

Today we are celebrating women entrepreneurs around the world. Here are some impressive statistics - around 252 million women around the world are entrepreneurs, and another 153 million women operate well-established businesses. Women own 36% of small businesses worldwide and generate around 1.9 trillion dollars in revenue. In the last 20 years, women entrepreneurs statistics have shown that the amount of female business owners has increased by 114%. And interestingly, Uganda and Vietnam are home to over 30% of women-owned companies.

Among the biggest challenges facing women entrepreneurs are defying social expectations, accessing funding, building a support network , and balancing business and family life. There are many wonderful organizations around the world who are helping women to tackle these challenges and thrive. Here are eight of them.
