We have to be very concerned with an outbreak in the north Korean People's Army.  If the military loses coherency and thus the ability to support the regime we are likely to see international instability and implosion ( conditions  and effects tat remain in the north) that could lead to explosion (conditions and effects that spill out of the north).

The  coronavirus outbreak has reportedly struck  North Korea's military - with dozens of troops now quarantined.
Three military doctors and one GP suddenly died of suspected Covid-19 symptoms on April 5, including fever.
They were pronounced dead at the Naval West Sea Fleet Command's 32nd Hospital in Nampo City.
North Korea's Navy Command, West Coast Fleet Command, and Korean People's Army afterwards quarantined around 50 soldiers and 20 medical personnel, Daily NK reports.
The victims' relatives have reportedly since been placed into a "national quarantine" facility in the city.
One of the doctors had been going to work for a week while hiding a fever, it is claimed.

Last month, a North Korean officer was demoted for drinking, "debauchery" and breaching the communist nation's strict coronavirus lockdown rules.
In an article titled "Let's find a lesson from the complacent, idle, and privilege-seeking acts among Chonnae County officials", party officials described one officer who had been "expelled from the party".
It read: "Recently among some officials of Kangwon province's Chonnae county, complacent, idle, and privilege-seeking phenomena arose in which... [some officials] were negligent of their duties and committed drinking debauchery."

"A democracy is only as resilient as its people. An informed and engaged citizenry is the fundamental requirement for a free and resilient nation. For generations, our society has protected free press, free speech, and free thought. Today, actors such as Russia are using information tools in an attempt to undermine the legitimacy of democracies. Adversaries target media, political processes, financial networks, and personal data. The American public and private sectors must recognize this and work together to defend our way of life. No external threat can be allowed to shake our shared commitment to our values, undermine our system of government, or divide our Nation."
