Bicycle & Pedestrian Improvements in the Beechmont Levee Area

ODOT has coordinated with Anderson Township and the City of Cincinnati to make it easier and safer for bicyclists and pedestrians to travel between the regional shared-use trail system and neighborhoods on the east side of the Beechmont Levee (Beechmont Avenue/SR 125).
The project's Feasibility Study documents the alternatives evaluated, engineering and environmental studies completed, public input received and recommended next steps. Responses to questions and comments received are included in Attachment F, Virtual Public Open House Summary Report, Appendix B.
The project will be completed in the following phases:
Phase 1 (Construction to begin in Spring 2023)
Construct bicycle and pedestrian improvements on Elstun Road, from Beechmont Avenue/SR 125 to Spindlehill Drive
Phase 2 (Construction to begin in Spring 2024)
Connect Elstun Road and Spindlehill Drive to the Little Miami Scenic Trail
Future Phase
Funding for proposed improvements from Elstun Road to Ranchvale Drive has not yet been identified.
