We’ve seen the renderings for the buildings proposed for the Hope South Campus and heard about the proposed improvements at Hope Central Campus and Hope Lake Weir Campus at the Town Hall Meeting. Now what happens?
We are at the point in the process where it is critical to learn even more from our congregation. We have engaged Rev. Mike Ward, who is called by the North Carolina Synod to stewardship and fundraising work, to help us communicate our strategic vision and determine our fundraising potential. As he does this, we will also learn how or if we need to phase our project vision. During this process, he and his team will also be listening to help us determine if any further refinements to the project list need to take place, as well as their timing.
Letters have been sent to a group of members chosen by the consultant inviting them to personal meetings which are being scheduled for April 3, 4, 5, or 6. These in-person interviews will be at Hope Central Campus unless a Zoom meeting or phone call is requested. Interviews will last no more than 45 minutes and everything shared with the consultants will be completely confidential.
The entire congregation is invited to the Cottage Meetings which will be held at Hope Central Campus at 5:30pm on Sunday, April 3 and at 1:30pm on Monday, April 4. The Sunday meeting will be in the Fellowship Hall and Monday’s will be in Room 203. Additionally, a virtual (Zoom) meeting will be held April 11.
Surveys will be emailed to the entire congregation to give everyone the opportunity to provide their thoughts and opinions. They will be completed online and will be confidential and sent directly to the consultant.
Your thoughts and opinions are needed. Please accept the opportunity to participate in the Feasibility Study and help shape our future.
