Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes

My dearest mother, Immaculate Virgin Mother of Mercy, Health of the sick, refuge of sinners, comforter of the afflicted, cuddle me in your arms and intercede for me as I pray to God for strength and patience to all endeavors I will have for today. I also pray for those who are sick. May the Lord cure them both spiritually and physically. This I ask through your intercession, in Jesus' name. Amen.

A brief story of Our Lady of Lourdes

February 11 marks the celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. According to tradition, the Blessed Mother first appeared to a young girl named Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes, France on February 11, 1858. Since her appearance, a number of unexplained and miraculous healings from the waters at Lourdes have been recorded by the Church.
