K4 4-6-2 Pacific Steam Locomotive
TCS WOWSound® Equipped
Recognized for both its reliability and elegant appearance, the K4 Pacific was emblematic of the power and style of the mighty Pennsylvania Railroad in the early-to-mid 20th century. Developed primarily for passenger service, the K4 could frequently be found leading some of the most celebrated trains of the era, such as the Broadway Limited and the Spirit of St. Louis, while also proving more than capable when handling freight. In 1987, preserved K4 #1361 was designated as the state locomotive of Pennsylvania, adding a further dimension of historical significance to the class.

Two new paint schemes join our range of Off-Set Cupola Cabooses in HO scale. These include the vibrantly painted Norfolk & Western "Bicentennial" scheme, which appeared on Caboose #1776 in celebration of the 200th birthday of the United States in 1976. A Burlington Northern version in Cascade Green is also arriving, based on the former CB&Q examples which were merged into the BN roster in the 1970s. Both cars feature E-Z Mate® knuckle couplers and free-rolling blackened metal wheels.
