Butter Braids are a pasty filled with savory or sweet fillings. A great addition to any Easter (or any day, really)! And cookie dough… yum!

Children and Youth – pick up a packet from the Children & Youth Board starting February 12th and start taking orders. Collect the money as you take the orders.  Checks should be made out to OSLC. Also, sign up for a shift to work the table and the proceeds will be split amongst those working the shift.

Order forms and money are due no later than Wednesday, March 18 . Return orders with the payments to the “Youth” box behind the reception desk at Our Saviour’s.

The Butter Braids & Cookie Dough will need to be picked up at Our Saviour’s on Wednesday, April 1, 4:30pm-7:30pm. Please be clear with those who purchase from you whether they are responsible for picking up on one of those dates or if you will be picking up and delivering for your customers.

Andrew's Bravery Box
Andrew's Bravery Box provides toys, games, and other fun items for children who are inpatient in the hospital. Nurses and parents can use the toys as rewards to children who bravely endure the day to day not-so-fun things that happen in the hospital. Every child will have different fears and we want to provide staff and parents with the means to make the hospitalization easier.

In July 2019, dear friends of Leisha's lost their 6.5 year old son, Andrew, to a congenital heart defect called Aortic Stenosis. While in the hospital, his parents found it increasingly difficult to keep Andrew’s spirits up. He developed fears about what you and I might think of as simple. During his final hospitalization, his parents stocked up on small toys that they knew he loved and put them in a brown paper bag. They called it the Bravery Bag. Each time Andrew faced his fear and showed how brave he was, they let him pick an item. After a few days, he was asking the nurses to flush his IV and removing tape and leads from his skin like a champ. The Bravery Bag made life in the hospital just a little more bearable. They are now providing the same tools for other parents and children who may be in the same situation.
See more information here .

Check out the list of suggested donations here .

Bring donations with you to church and place in the bin in front of the Children and Youth Board throughout the month of February. Andrew's parents, Beth and Jeromy will be in worship on Sunday, March 8, for a special blessing of all of the donations and their ministry and family.
Fun fact ... Beth and Jeromy are in the ministry band 100 White Flags . They are the musicians for our upcoming Quake event! And Beth is a math teacher at Blaine High School!

The kids of OSLC are changing the world!'

Not only did they raise enough money to buy their next goal of a pig, but they raised double and were able to buy a much needed water buffalo. Both the pig and water buffalo will go to villages in Africa.

So far this year Children's Ministry Offering has bought 2 goats, 3 rabbits, a pig, and a water buffalo.

Keep up the great work! Keep changing the world!
Attention Graduating Seniors!
Sunday, May 3rd, 10am we will be recognizing graduating high school seniors. Please plan to join us for a time of recognition, blessing, prayer and a gift of a handmade quilt from your church family.
