Non-Tesla EV sales are growing, but tariffs, softening emission standards, reduced DOT funding and loss of the federal tax credit, plus sagging Tesla sales lead to national sales being flat.

Bill to Add $1K to the Price of EVs


A Bill introduced by Senator Barrasso from Wyoming would end the federal EV tax credit and add a $1,000 surcharge to all EV sales to go toward highway maintenance.

US EPA Seeks Congressional Review of California’s Separate Emission Standards


The US EPA will transmit to Congress the Biden administration’s rules granting California’s ability to establish more restrictive emissions standards.
