MANAGING STRONG EMOTIONS
With Emily Epstein
February 10, 5:30-7:30pm PST | Online via Zoom
Emotions have always played a starring role in mediations, but COVID has heightened all the pre-existing tensions between neighbors, landlords and tenants, managers and employees, and many more.

Our success as mediators depends on our ability to respond effectively to participants' strong emotions. This interactive workshop will help participants better understand how emotions work, what emotional triggers all people share, and how we can respond to emotions productively.

In Emily's workshop, you will:
  • Gain a better understanding of how emotions work
  • Review common emotional triggers
  • Learn ways to productively respond to strong emotions
