Kick off the Lunar New Year season early with us at the South Street Seaport Museum! Chinatown Partnership is honored to co-sponsor this event together with South Street Seaport Museum and LiveOnNY to bring you a FREE day of joy, culture, and creativity—and you’re invited!


This celebration isn’t just about welcoming the Year of the Horse—it’s about building bridges between the Seaport and Chinatown. We want visitors to leave not only with a smile, but also with a sense of connection to one of NYC’s most vibrant neighborhoods and its rich Lunar New Year traditions. We want to share this cultural celebration with the community in a way that’s authentic, hands-on, and deeply rooted in the community.


LION DANCE PERFORMANCES & PARADE

Voices Against Anti-Asian Hate (Screening & Discussion, Feb 22)

The Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA), in partnership with the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY), the Asian American Law Fund of New York (AALFNY) and the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York (FALA NY), invites you to a screening of "Voices Against Anti-Asian Hate," hosted by Philippine Consulate General, on Weds, February 25, 2026, at 556 Fifth Ave, Manhattan.

 

The documentary, produced by AABANY and AALFNY, features a series of interviews with survivors and other individuals impacted by anti-Asian violence. The panel will address key issues surrounding hate crimes and anti-Asian bias. A reception will follow the event.
