In addition to her experience as a writer and editor in publishing and journalism, Jennifer has experience in business development, philanthropy, fundraising, and strategic planning.
She is a passionate advocate for marginalized communities and has extensive experience in non-profit board service and volunteerism including with the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, the board of the Cincinnati Ballet, and the Contemporary Arts Center.

WWfaC Summer Writing Camps are for students entering grades 4-12 and provide opportunities for them to discover and develop their unique writing voice while building literacy skills and confidence.
With trained facilitator guidance, they'll explore creative writing, self-expression, and explore the big questions about their future & identity. Whether writing stories, essays, poetry, or personal reflections, students will practice articulating their thoughts and embrace the power of words.

Ellen Austin-Li’s 2025 collection, Incidental Pollen—a Trio Award finalist and Wisconsin Poetry Series semi-finalist—is the runner-up to Madville Publishing’s Arthur Smith Poetry Prize.
Finishing Line Press published her chapbooks Firefly and Lockdown: Scenes From Early in the Pandemic. Ellen is a Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net-nominated poet whose work appears in many journals and anthologies, including SWIMM, Salamander,The Maine Review and Lily Poetry Review.

In this workshop, you will explore traditional and modern poetic forms—from sonnets, villanelles, and pantoums to invented forms like duplexes and golden shovels.
