Sometimes it takes a long time for an idea to become reality. It feels that's the case with the Historic Arts District, but we've got to keep trying! A PREG Team has begun working with county staff. We learned that ArtSpace (the company slated to restore our historic district) is no longer working on the project.

Silver lining: the previous vision was from 2004 when no one lived in EG. Now the Historic District has neighbors and friends all around it.

What's YOUR vision for those buildings and the land near them?

Please take this short SURVEY then forward this newsletter to an EG neighbor or a friend of EG. Anyone over age16 is invited to take the survey. Your email address will not be collected (unless you opt in).

You may have seen the signs in the National Monument: "off limits due to munitions hazards." Do you wonder how the clean-up of Ft Ord is going? Thanks to the Monterey Weekly, here is the Army's annual online update. Interesting reading about water quality and controlled burns. Take a look and see if you notice what's been left out.
