Library staff would love to set you up – with a great book!
If you're on the lookout for your next literary love, we can match you up with a surprise book.
1 - Let us know a little bit about what you like to read.
2 - We'll find a book that fits your request and put it on hold for you.
3 - Pick up your book.
Make a Library To Go appointment Monday-Friday at any of KCPL's three locations. Beginning February 13th at the Chestertown location, appointment-free Curbside Saturday pickups will also be available.
4 - Meet your new book and (hopefully) enjoy a good read!

Intergenerational Celebration

|
Kent County
African American Read-In
Wednesday, February 24 | 6pm
All ages welcome.
Join us for an interactive, multigenerational community celebration of black authors, literacy, reading, and diversity in literature!
If you're interested in being a reader at this event, please let us know when you register.
Readings may include short essays, passages from novels, poetry, children's books, or other types of writing. If you're interested in reading, please choose a family-friendly selection that resonates on a personal level and practice reading your piece out loud ahead of time. To accommodate as many readers as possible, selections should be no more than 2-4 minutes when read aloud.
