Arizona Shelter Network vows to "Get Sh** Done"

We've all seen the headlines:

"Local homelessness continues to rise"

"Federal Funding Stripped from Essential Community Services"

"Eviction Rates reach unprecedented levels in Maricopa County"

If you're wondering "what am I supposed to do about it?" - you're not alone! Awareness without action can make you feel powerless.

In that spirit, last month Keys to Change, CASS, A New Leaf, and UMOM have launched the Arizona Shelter Network.

With the original working title of "GSD" - as in "Get Sh** Done" - the coalition has set goals to increase shelter capacity, ensure all beds are utilized, reduce recidivism, and decrease length of stay.

You can hear more about it on the most recent McQuaid Mission segment from February's STN episode: Watch Now

This powerhouse collaboration will ensure that every person in the valley has access to safe and stable shelter.

Gift of Warmth in Any Weather

You may see Keys to Change posting about the Gift of Warmth winter supply campaign on Facebook and Instagram.

It may be 85 degrees outside, but the nights are still cold, posing a serious health threat to our neighbors on the street.

Donate your gently used winter wear or make a small monthly gift.

Thank you for your support!

Another PIT Count in the Books

Big thanks to our incredible team who answered the 4 AM wake-up call for the annual Point-in-Time Count.

This early morning count of homelessness in our community guides vital federal funding and helps Keys to Change focus our daily outreach efforts.

Thanks team!
