TO VOTE AT THE ANNUAL MEETING for the Pastoral Candidate:
Per the St. Paul Synod guidelines, to vote for the Candidate for Pastor, you must
attend the annual meeting - either in person or virtually - and be a congregational member in good standing.
If voting in person, all voting materials will be provided for you.
If voting remotely, you will need - for each voting member
- a blank sheet of paper (to write the motion on)
- an envelope (to write your name on the outside of and put the motion inside of)
- You must bring your vote to the church,
- One person may bring multiple people's envelopes to the church
The synod requires a written ballot be received from each voting member who attended the meeting to call a pastor. These ballots must be dropped off at the church’s front doors by 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 14th. Someone will take your ballot; you won’t even have to get out the car!
