The Place to Be
Rev. Dr. Ashley Cleere, Executive Director
|
At my high school, the Alcove was the place to be. There, clusters of students discussed football games, school dances, yearbook pictures, and other topics significant to our life together as members of the student body. Fast forward forty years. Where do people meet to exchange news and ideas? Increasingly, we gather online.
Later this month, we will launch a Members Forum on the NACCC website. This point in cyberspace will function as the Alcove did at my high school. You will be able to ask questions about upcoming events, exchange ideas, and lend support to other member churches. In this informal setting, Congregationalists can connect with one another and share insights about how to be the body of Christ. We hope you will join the conversation! Watch your email for launch date.

NEW DAY & TIME
NACCC Prayer Circle
Monday Evenings, 8PM Central
“We tend to use prayer as a last resort, but God wants it to be our first line of defense. We pray when there’s nothing else we can do, but God wants us to pray before we do anything at all.”
