REFUGEE FOCUS MOVING DAY

While we are currently unable to be matched with a refugee family, we're going to help other organizations who are actively helping refugees in our area. This Saturday, February 19, we will meet at our Elliot Kyrene Self Storage storage units (543 W. Elliot Road) at 8am to move furniture over to warehouses in North Tempe for distribution. All help will be greatly valued and appreciated! Please email Paola with questions.

BORDERLANDS PRODUCE RESCUE

We host another Borderlands this Saturday, February 19, bright and early from 6:30 - 11am in the Arcadia parking lot. We would love to see you there if you can make it! It’s a great way do some outdoor community service, enjoy the cool mornings, and help with environmental and food justice work in our community. Email Amy for more information.

MID-WEEK BIBLE STUDY

Join us via Zoom on Wednesday Mornings starting February 23 at 10:00, for an eight-week Bible Study, led by Pastor Bob Mitchell and based on the book The Story of Luke by Justo Gonzalez. Learn more

DAYSPRING MOMS' FELLOWSHIP

Our moms’ group is open to all moms in search of a kid-free night out. Our next gathering is at 7pm, next Friday, February 25. Please RSVP to Andrea for the exact location.

ASU CONCERT

ASU Sol Singers and Canticum Bassum pre-sent songs of peace, freedom, perseverance, and hope on Monday, February 28 at 7:30pm in our Sanctuary. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at: https://bit.ly/3ucjlE0

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Dayspring's build dates have been set. We will be building a home in South Phoenix on 10th Ave near Buckeye. Our dates are March 19, April 9, May 7, and June 4. Please consider volunteering on this rewarding endeavor. It's a good way for youth and scouts over 16 years old to get service hours. It's also a good way to reconnect with your fellow H4H volunteers. If interested, please email Mark. Habitat also qualifies for the Arizona Charitable Giving Credit on your state taxes.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

The United Methodist Men resume their annual golf tournament at the Foothills CC on Saturday April 23. It will be a 7:30 am shotgun start. The $90.00 fee includes golf cart, practice balls, prizes and lunch. Put your own foursome together or they can do it for you. Email Mark with questions or to register. We will have mulligans available for purchase and a fundraising hole for our children’s ministry’s campaign to build more fresh water wells in Africa.

JUSTA CENTER DONATIONS

We are collecting needed items for Justa Center, a shelter for homeless seniors, especially things to help with this cold/flu season including: tissues (especially small individual packs), cough drops, lip balm, and alcohol-free cough medicine.

WALK TO END HOMELESSNESS

Join Team Dayspring at the Phoenix Zoo for the 13th annual UMOM Walk to End Homelessness on May 14! Registration includes zoo admission. Learn more or Register for our team!
