New Ministry: Annunciation Prayer Partners
The Prayer Partners of the Annunciation/Evangelismos Greek Orthodox parish are those who love the Lord Jesus Christ and will pray for those in need. Prayer requests vary from health needs to spiritual needs, guidance in times of decision, and strength in the conflicts of day-to-day life. Because our God is gracious and merciful, we have also offered many prayers of thanksgiving, including those for healing.
To request a prayer, simply fill out this confidential Prayer Request Form. Alternatively, you can submit a paper Prayer Request Form found in the narthex.
EVERYONE NEEDS PRAYER! At Annunciation, we consider prayer to be the basis of our relationship with our Lord. Our Prayer Partners consist of faithful stewards who commit to praying for others in need. This ministry welcomes all to participate. We often have faithful who cannot participate in certain Church ministries because of distance or health, and we encourage them to participate in this new and exciting ministry program. An email list of names to be prayed for is sent out weekly.
If you are interested in joining Annunciation Prayer Partners to pray for others, don't hesitate to get in touch with Olga McHugh at prayerpartners@anngoc.org or the Church Office at office@anngoc.org.

Pastoral care: If you or someone you know is sick, homebound, elderly, or scheduled for surgery, please call the church office to let us know so Fr. John can make a pastoral visit or add someone to the prayer list.
In Our Prayers, “Pray for one another that you might be healed.” (James 5:16): Victoria, Ryan, Elizabeth, Arthur, Rizelma, Sofia, Melanie, Konstantinos, Konstantinos, James, Frank, Maria, Kyriaki, Clare, Pantelis, Spiro, Evangelia, Dimitra, Aikaterini, George, Ekaterini, Vasiliki, Rizos, Aris, Anastasia, Paul.
Names will be kept on this list for approximately three months. Please resubmit Names if needed. Fr. John will include the submitted names at the Psokomide “Offering of Gifts” during the Matins when he prepares the mystical gifts of bread & wine. Our Prayer Partners Ministry members pray for these persons daily. Please lift these names up to the Lord in your personal prayer life as well.
Prayer for healing: Heavenly Father, physician of our souls and bodies, who has sent our Lord to heal every sickness. Visit and heal us. Grant patience in this sickness, strength of body and spirit, and health recovery. Lord, You have taught us to pray for each other that we may be healed. We pray that You heal, guide, and protect your servants (pray by name for those who are sick) and grant them the gift of complete health. You are the source of healing, and to You we give glory, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
