Already Registered For Winter Conference? Here's what's next.
If you have already registered for the 2021 IVMA Virtual Winter Conference, look for an email tomorrow, Wednesday, February 3 from Matchbox Virtual Media. This email will provide you with information about creating an account on the online platform.

If you don't receive an email by the end of the day tomorrow, please check your junk/spam mailbox. You can also add [email protected] to your Safe Senders List on Outlook or create a filter for this account on Gmail so this email address will always get through.

You will also receive an email on Monday, February 8 with a link to a short video tutorial. Use this link if you would like a preview on how to navigate the event platform.

There will be Help Desk during the conference staffed by the Matchbox team. You can email them at [email protected] should you encounter any issues or have any questions about your account.

As always, we will be here at the IVMA office to help you.

We can't wait to "see" you online next week at Winter Conference!

It's Pet Dental Health Month!
In February, remind your clients about the importance of caring for pet's pearly whites and encourage them to come and see you.

Visit Partners for Health Pets for FREE Facebook posts, tweets and copy for your practice website or newsletter that encourage owners to pay attention to their pet’s teeth. Many owners may not realize that their furry friends are at risk for serious medical diseases when their mouth is not examined on a regular basis.

Also, visit the AVMA National Pet Dental Health month website (member log-in required) for more ideas on how to share information with your clients about pet dental health.
Iowa State CVM "DEI Minute"
The Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine is launching a new monthly video series called "DEI Minute" on topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Learn about Cyberbullying
The Bridge Club is offering a free online discussion about Cyber Bullying and how to protect your hospital's reputation.

Join in for a conversation with Eric Garcia, founder and CEO of Simply Done Tech Solutions for a candid discussion on how to address why a practice is a victim of cyber bullying and how to protect your staff.

The event will take place on February 17 at 6:00 pm and another session is offered at 8:30 pm.

Invite your whole staff to join in on the important conversation!
