February 2016
Greetings Culinarians and Associates,
I hope all of you enjoyed a great January to start off the new year. We have a lot of events and seminars this year for our members and guests. I hope that you all take advantage of the benefits you get by coming to the educational seminars and events that are about networking and learning.
ACF Competition & Cold Food Educational Seminar
The educational seminar that Chef Randy Torres put on this weekend was very informative and impressed all, with the techniques and finished plates that were presented. I would like to thank Chef Torres and his team for giving their time and knowledge for this well received seminar. We hope that the techniques taught to those that attended will be used in the upcoming competition at BTC. Thank you Chef for traveling up here and giving your time to share some of your knowledge. Pictures of this seminar will be up soon...

AAC Dinner
The AAC dinner that was scheduled for March 5th has been canceled. Chef Baldwin would like to thank those that purchased tickets and were planning on attending the event but because of a booking issue with the vendor it needed to be canceled. There are plans to reschedule for a later time this year. More to follow when a new date is decided.
Salon Competition
Our first International Salon competition in May at BTC will be the largest yet. Make sure to see if there are any spots left. I know that most of the spots are taken and Chef Baldwin has said that there are a few slots left on Sunday. If you are not planning on competing you should take the opportunity to watch the competitors create.
