The Delaware Tourism Office (DTO) understands how important arts and culture are to the state. Out-of-state travelers coming to shows or exhibits bring money to Delaware. DTO and CVB's are working with the Division of the Arts to use cultural offerings as a tourism driver. Help us by sharing info about your programs on
DelawareScene.com, which feeds into state and county tourism event calendars.
The earlier you submit your events, the more likely we'll be able to promote it, as we develop media plans at least a year in advance.

February
[Un]Ravel, a show of photographs by Joshua Meier, will be on view in the Mezzanine Gallery from February 3-24, 2017. An opening reception to meet the artist will be held on Friday, February 3 from 5-7 p.m.
Joshua Meier received a 2016 Individual Artist Fellowship in Photography from the Delaware Division of the Arts. [Un]Ravel features a new body of work created during his fellowship year. Meier challenged himself to photograph the same subject - a ball of string - every day. The result is a series of striking photographs that explore string and its unraveling as metaphors for life and change. Watch the Meet the Artist video with Meier.
The Mezzanine Gallery, open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., is located in the Carvel State Office Building, 820 N. French Street, Wilmington.
