79 new jobs and $6.4M in capital investment
Builders FirstSource, Inc. of Dallas, Texas, announced the location of their new truss manufacturing facility, 120 Kelly Court, in Bowling Green. This project includes a capital investment of nearly $6.4 million and the creation of 79 new jobs over the next five years. BFS is a leading supplier and manufacturer of residential building materials, manufactured components and construction services to professional contractors, sub-contractors and consumers.  View the full release.

1,377 of Kentucky's 4,700+ administrative regulations have been reviewed as of January 18th. 
  • 117 have been repealed
  • 135 have been targeted for repeal
  • 109 have been amended
  • 393 have been targeted for amendment
Through this initiative eight boards under the Department of Housing, Buildings, and Construction have been consolidated into  one Advisory Board.

Additionally, the number  of required forms in the Department of Workers' Claims has been reduced.
