We were very saddened to learn of the passing of Clarence Fry who featured prominently in the creation of our Habitat affiliate. He was a longtime supporter, volunteer and friend. We were blessed to have had him attend our 100th home celebration (pictured) so that he could bear witness to all the successes that began when he met in 1993 with other like-minded APGFCU employees to discuss starting a local Habitat chapter. He and Charles Alston were its founding volunteers and first two presidents. Our prayers and sympathies go to his wife Carol, sons David & Thomas, and to all who knew and loved him. Thank you for your years of dedicated service to our community.

"By love serve one another."

Shining a Spotlight on Volunteering
Volunteers Needed in Havre de Grace
We are on the build site (the two neighboring homes on Girard Street) Wednesday - Saturday from 8AM to 3PM.

No experience is necessary and no specific skills are required. Habitat Susquehanna provides an expert crew leader on each house build site who will provide on-the-job training.

We also have volunteer opportunities available in non-construction areas, serving on committees, planning special events, etc.  Learn More about volunteering with Habitat Susquehanna.

Volunteer of the Month
Pat Gilligan -- seen here donating a watercolor she painted to the Dream Builders' Ball Silent Auction -- has been a volunteer with Habitat Susquehanna for eight-and-a-half years. She has consistently received the President's Volunteer Service Award for volunteering more than 200 hours each year to Habitat Susquehanna! She is a "core" volunteer who comes out every Wednesday at our build sites. She regularly supports our biggest fundraiser, the Dream Builders' Ball, and provides other financial support to our organization as well. Thank you, Pat, for your time, service & contributions!
