MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE PROFILES - Robert Grose
A past President of our PROBUS Club and an all-round dynamo, Robert is a valuable volunteer in the community.  He has spent 5 years on the VIS Board, 20 years in the Lantzville Rotary, worked very hard on the funding of Eden Gardens and is a new volunteer at Milner Gardens.  When not volunteering, Robert can frequently be found enjoying a round of golf at Fairwinds.  He also hikes and gardens, and appreciates scotch & wine.

Robert moved from Ontario to Nanaimo with his wife Lynn and their two daughters in 1994 and in 2001, as empty-nesters he an Lynn moved to Fairwinds.  Robert had a 25-year career as a Human Resources professional with high tech companies in Toronto before heading west, and then started his own financial planning practice in Nanaimo.  His varied interests and many contacts serve him well as Speaker Chair for our PROBUS Club.

Another interest for Robert and Lynn is travel - they are off to Portugal this week for a two-month exploration of the Algarve.
