Hello My Friends,
It was an awesome party, if I do say so myself!! And that was because of some "minor!" organization on my part and twelve artists piling on an abundance of beautiful art. Herewith a link to a ten minute video* of the reveal of the centerpiece of the 7 Decades celebration. It is a magnificent painting and its price is $17,500.
Below is a beautiful giclee numbered 1 through 75, each signed by Veryl Goodnight. They are more modestly priced: $300 each!
*Michael Munroe, a friend of many years who created my parents' Aspen Hall of Fame video in 2000, came from Florida at my special request. He created this video and on Saturday, one for each of the artists who could attend. I will put those in newsletters over time. In the meantime, here is a link to the Events page on my website where you can peruse the bios (many include images) of the twelve artists who created the "embarrassment of riches" for Toklat's 70th.
Because it is that time of year, I highlight an exquisitely turned, with carved and painted rim, alabaster valentine for your
special sweetie
. It is 4 inches high and 8.5 inches in diameter, cost $1,900 and was created by Max Krimmel (see his bio).
