Upon the vacated position of City Clerk, the Board of Aldermen created a subcommittee consisting of 3 Aldermen and the City Administrator to assist in the search for and recommendation of City Clerk to the Board of Aldermen.
The committee met on three occasions and made a recommendation to the Board on December 20, 2018. At that time, the Board gave City Administrator Jeana Woods authorization to proceed and Tara Berreth was hired.
During the January 17, 2019 Board of Aldermen meeting, Tara was officially appointed by the Board and she was sworn in on January 18, 2019 by Deputy City Clerk Dorothy Urlicks.
