My Approach to Painting with
Susan Webb Tregay
Watercolor is the ideal media for painting on location because the supplies can be simplified while the challenges and rewards are magnified. While I love my system for sketching while traveling, the challenge of almost finishing a painting on site is always exciting. How do I approach it? In three distinct steps. Read more...

Draw from Life.
Why? Because working from the live model teaches you the art of drawing - concepts like action (gestures), structure and edges (soft and hard). One of the great surprises in art is that drawing from a model won't just improve your figures, but also your landscapes, still lifes and portraits.
Great news our early bird flea markets during the Tuesday - Thursday workshop and including the General Meeting netted our Outreach program $725 which sends 3 students to camp. We have lots and lots of other art supplies in our storage container that we will be offering at the workshops and General Meetings thru our Grand Finale in March at the General Meeting.
Keep bringing in things and we will find a new home for them.
Thanks to all who so generously support us with purchases and donations.
