LSSU Launches First Cannabis-specific Chemistry Program
A bachelor's degree with a major in cannabis chemistry will be offered beginning in fall 2019, along with an associate's degree program in cannabis science. Students can opt in for an American Chemical Society (ACS)-endorsed degree.

Jenny Lin

Classical music fans won't want to miss Jenny Lin, one of the most respected young pianists today. Ms. Lin has adventurous programming and a charismatic stage presence. Ms. Lin performs this Thursday, February 21st at 7 pm. Don't miss this performance! Purchase tickets now.

Great Lake State Weekend 2019 date set for October 11-12

GLSW 2019

Laker hockey will play Denver at home for GLSW 2019 October 11-12. The weekend will include many popular traditions from years past, including alumni awards, a career fair, 5k fun run, planetarium shows and the increasingly popular Laker Tailgate outside Norris prior to Saturday's hockey game. Mark your calendar and plan your trip back to the Soo!

Bill Munsell
Bill Munsell '68was recognized by the I-500 Snowmobile Race for having volunteered in some capacity for every single race since the inaugural event in 1969.

Lakers sweep at home against Michigan Tech for the first time since 1983-84. They have reached 20 wins this season for the first time since 2006-07. Lakers moved up one spot to No. 18 in the most recent USCHO.com Men's Top 20 poll. Lakers return to WCHA action on the road this weekend for a key series against Northern Michigan Feb. 23-24 in Marquette. The LSSU Alumni Association is hosting a social for Laker fans prior to Saturday's game at Delft Bistro in Marquette. Come join us!
