Ghee is popularly known as a healthy cooking ingredient from India. Ghee can help
improve heart health,
reduce inflammation,
lubricate joints,
banish arthritis stiffness and
balance weight gain.
Ghee contains less dairy proteins than regular butter. This makes it ideal for those who do not tolerate dairy products that well and have sensitivity to dairy proteins such as lactose and casein.
Ghee is very nutritious for the pregnant as well as the Lactating women, it is believed that ghee acts as a wondrous food in pregnancy by improving digestion, relieving constipation, easing labour and development of baby's brain.

Lotus Chaat Will Be Closing
Indian grocery store,
Lotus Chaat and Spices in the West end of San Rafael will be closing this Spring.
Opened in 2011, Lotus Chaat is the largest North Bay store for Indian groceries. We sell many organic and fresh items. We also introduced Indian Street Food "Chaat" dishes to Marin County.
We'll keep you updated on the closing date of our grocery. Shop your favorite Indian groceries and spices now while we are still open.

Very upscale and quiet they have a no cell phone policy printed on the front of their menu. It was very clean and zen the wait staff were impeccable and the service was absolutely prompt and flawless. It was my first experience here and I couldn't be more pleased this is my new Indian go to! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
