Week 1: February 1-8
February 4 is World Cancer Day . Pray for all affected by cancer. Prayers of thanks for the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services Childhood Cancer Program

Pray for CCIH colleagues and friends and all people in Zimbabwe during this time of unrest. Pray for peace and for God’s intervention. About the Situation
Week 2: February 9-16
Pray for those affected by a measles outbreak in the U.S. Northwest. Pray for better understanding of vaccines and that common myths will be dispelled. Prayers of thanks for experts willing to speak out to calm fears and misperceptions surrounding vaccines. Pray for safety for health workers in Sudan after physicians have been killed in recent violence. About the Situation
Week 3: February 17-23
Praise for the new chemotherapy services at Kijabe Hospital in Kenya. The Kijabe Hospital sees hundreds of cancer patients every year, and until now has had to refer them to Nairobi for treatment. Praise for the work of Bob and Hope Carter of SIM at the hospital.

February 20 is World Social Justice Day . Prayers of thanks for the work of the Salvation Army’s International Social Justice Commission , a strategic voice to advocate for human dignity and social justice with the world's poor and oppressed. See Resources to “Go and Do Something” 
Week 4: February 24-28
Pray for the organizers and attendees of the Africa Christian Health Associations Platform (ACHAP) biennial conference in Yaounde, Cameroon, February 25-March 1. May they have fruitful networking, fellowship and information sharing.

Pray for the work of the Christian Health Associations to build capacity of church-owned and operated health facilities in Africa and other majority world areas, such as India and Pakistan.
