Let it snow! We have been singing snow songs, doing "snow yoga" and even dressed Mat Man for winter! February music classes will continue to practice the children's gross motor skills, as well as develop their listening skills! Learning to listen and follow directions in simple songs helps with reading readiness, patterning and responsible behavior- all good things! Music is a fun way to practice these very important skills!

During Children's Chapel our classes join Rev. Mary Kay, Rev. Will or Miss Maureen to pray, hear a Bible lesson and sing some fun songs.
This year, families are invited to join us for Children's Chapel for our two special family celebrations during the months of December and May.
For the remaining school months, the classes will join Rev. Mary Kay, Rev. Will and/or Miss Maureen in smaller groups for their lessons.

Welcome to the month of love and friendship! We will be celebrating Valentine's Day here at preschool in all classes. See below for all the details!
You can find the school calendar and all upcoming events on our website's
News & Events page.

February is the month of love and kindness. It's the m
on
th to focus on our hearts and think about how we love one another. God teaches us to love one another and to be kind to each other. At the preschool, we try to live God's message and spread love and kindness in everything we do. We strive to show what "kindness" looks like! The teachers work to develop a sense of community in the classroom. They create supportive environments to help the children learn from one another. They practice "kindness" and begin teaching what it means to work together cooperatively and collaboratively. These skills are part of our Executive Functioning and are important life skills for all people! In addition, they are God skills...He wants us all to work together and love each other! This February, take the time to practice your "God skills". As a community, let's talk about kindness and show others what kindness looks like!
Blessings,
