Attending the January meeting were representatives from the Fire Department, Richmond Ambulance Authority and Richmond Department of Public Works. Meetings are planned quarterly.
Christmas Eve gifts

On Christmas Eve, an 11-year-old boy, Henry Cadot, and his family came from Henrico County to the ECC to present gifts to employees. He wanted to give back to the community for the holidays.
Community Outreach recognition for staff

DEC employees who helped with community outreach throughout 2018 were recognized during roll calls in January. Everyone received a certificate of appreciation and those who worked the most hours received a folding camp chair.
