NEW SAMPLER CLASS
Back by Popular Demand

Beginner/Intermediate Sampler Class
Stitch a 12"x12" square canvas on 13m with  3" or 4" squares. Students choose their color palette (usually 3 to 4 colors). Instructor will help select a variety of threads in different colors and textures based on student's palette.  Together the instructor and student will  pick stitches (each square will use a different stitch) and color placement.
The cost is $100 
Threads and stretcher bars are extra.
The Class will be held on four consecutive Thursdays from 10am to Noon.
The first class starts Thursday, February 13th with the last class meeting on  March 5th.
Call immediately to sign up as space is limited.
STITCH  OF THE MONTH
Skip Tent Stitch S
The background of this mini sock from Tapestry Tent's 12 Days of Christmas series uses the Skip Tent Stitch.  Since the design is painted on brown canvas and the stitcher used a similar color thread the effect is a lacy, delicate background. Using a lighter or darker thread color from the painted color being stitched over (using Skip Tent Stitch) can create subtle to dramatic results.
