This is the Men's version of WMF®

Great Contribution
A few weeks ago I met with Karon Wright the founder of; Great Contribution
Great Contribution is a wonderful and successful 501c3 in the US that funds microloans to women in Uganda to start businesses.
My college roommate Rosemary Llwantale Musoke
was from Uganda so I know first hand what the
women of Uganda are going through.
They also train the women in business practices
so they will be successful. That is often the missing piece in other programs. Which is why
we are supporting this program.
The loans are small by our standards. They are only $30 to $300 dollars! But each loan turns
these women's lives around. They can send their children to school and feed and clothe them & keep them Healthy.
John and I are supporting Karon's organization.
They have received the 2019 Gold Seal of Transparency from Guide Star.

Recently a great man, who we have known for a while as a client, told me we women should all get a "thicker skin". The Legislator in his State who threatened a woman reporter with "boys" coming after her wasn't saying it as a threat just a poorly crafted joke.
I wrote back to him that we have had 5000+ years of "thicker skin" and by the way he should know all women, worldwide, got together last year and we decided our skins were thick enough and we were no longer accepting implied threats or poorly crafted jokes.
I warned him he needed to know about this decision
by women and he needed to stop mansplaining another man's stupidity to us.
If I am getting this response I wonder what you are getting?
On the upside, he did admit the legislator made a mistake saying what he said and that he shouldn't have said it at all. Yup I agree! He shouldn't have said it at all.
Currently I find myself warning men that what was acceptable before is no longer acceptable.
Just in case men haven't gotten it, let me be clear:
Stop saying anything to women that can be in any way a threat, hint of a threat,implied threat or badly worded joke that seems like a threat.
Again worldwide we women have voted and it no longer is something we tolerate no matter how thick our skin may be!
