Greetings from the Center for Irish Music,

We are gearing up for Éigse CIM, A Gaela Event, our annual fundraising event coming up soon on February 22nd from 5-10pm. Don't miss out on attending this memorable annual celebration in support traditional Irish music! This year's event will feature a beautiful Celtic-themed silent auction, a delicious dinner, and spectacular live performances of traditional Irish music throughout the evening. The event culminates in a concert featuring CIM's instructors, with concert-only tickets priced at $25!

Our spring term began last week with a new roster of classes and a fresh coat of paint on the walls. The painting is just part of our 2020 lobby improvement project, funded by the Metro Regional Arts Council. We also recently received beautiful new lobby furniture and hung framed posters of eleven years of the Minnesota Irish Music Weekend (formerly the Young Irish Musicians Weekend) in the hallway. Thanks to the many volunteers who helped move furniture, clean (including exterior windows), and organize our storage spaces. We appreciate your time & energy.

I look forward to seeing you over the upcoming months,

Norah Rendell
Executive Artistic Director
Center for Irish Music
