Super Bowl LIV

Super Bowl LIV will be hosted in Miami. It’s been ten years since the big game was last held in Miami, but it is back and promises to be bigger and better than ever. The city will host satellite events and watch parties, like Maxim’s Super Bowl Party on Virginia Key, Shaq’s Fun House, a Super Bowl Cruise out of Port Miami, Taste of the NFL with Andrew Zimmern and Adam Richman, yacht parties and many more highly anticipated events so be sure to keep an eye out and make a plan for where to watch the game if you haven’t secured a ticket for the Hard Rock Stadium.

Coral Gables Festival of the Arts

More than 200 artists set up in historic Coral Gables for a weekend of arts across all mediums at the Coral Gables Festival of the Arts on Alhambra from Ponce de Leon Boulevard to LeJeune. There are more than 50 kids-focused booths, 40 booths with dog and pet products and art, fashion and traditional visual arts including bronze, watercolor, oil paintings, sculpture and so much more. Enjoy the concurrent festivals: 10th Annual Coral Gables Food, Wine & Spirits Festival and the Coral Gables Home Show. Admission is free with registration.
Life Time Miami Marathon

The Life Time Miami Marathon and Half Marathon follows a track that takes you through some of the city’s most scenic views. The Miami Marathon is considered one of the country’s premiere marathon events and it’s expected to sell out so reserve your spot as soon as possible if you’re ready to participate. If you aren’t ready for the full or half marathon or you’re looking for a warm up before the main event, consider signing up for the Life Time Tropical 5k at Tropical Park the day before.
Miami International Boat Show

Progressive Insurance’s Miami International Boat Show is and internationally renowned event that draws a dedicated crowd year after year. The show is back at Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin on the Rickenbacker Causeway leading out to Virginia Key and Key Biscayne. Featuring the finest collection of both powerboat and sailing products in one location, browse more than 170 top marine brands. Climb aboard the latest models or sign up for something more hands-on. There will be seminar tents dedicated to sailing and boating education featuring dozens of seminars each day. Hop on one of the free water taxis or shuttles for easy access to the show. Tickets start at $25; two-day passes are $45; children 12 and younger are free.
Miami Yacht Show
February 13-17
One Herald Plaza, Miami, FL

The same weekend as the Miami International Boat Show, step into the ultra-luxury market and see the latest yachts and marine technology at the Miami Yacht Show. The show will take place on Biscayne Bay between the Venetian and MacArthur Causeways at One Herald Plaza. More than 100 food vendors join in alongside some of the world’s most uniquely designed yachts and superyachts. Hop aboard the Yacht of Love on Valentine’s Day and enjoy entertainment, Whispering Angel Rosé, local eats and more for $50 a couple, benefiting the Frost Science Museum. Tickets start at $25; children 15 and under are free. VIP access is $150.
Art Wynwood

Just next door to the Miami Yacht Show is Art Wynwood, held over President’s Day weekend, is your opportunity to start a collection of the most relevant and exciting contemporary and modern artists working today. Started in 2012, this prestigious fair features contemporary works from around the world. Explore art from more than 70 international galleries at the new home of Art Miami and CONTEXT Art Miami (located at the former Miami Herald site) on Biscayne Bay in Downtown Miami. Tickets to Art Wynwood start at $15. There is a complimentary shuttle bus from the JW Marriot Marquis.
GroundUP Music Festival
February 14-16
North Beach Bandshell
Miami Beach, FL

Snarky Puppy and Chris Potter headline the GroundUP Music Festival, an outdoor music festival at the North Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach. Back for its fourth edition, the GroundUP Music Festival is an intimate music festival with less than 2,000 tickets sold per day. Each night is a unique lineup with two stages but no overlapping sets so that you can see every performance and never have to decide between two acts running at the same time. When the music at the North Beach Bandshell wraps at 11 p.m., live performances will continue at multiple venues until 4 a.m. Tickets start at $85 per person for single day admission or $225 for all three days. Late night show tickets start at $20.

Coconut Grove Arts Festival

The Coconut Grove Arts Festival keeps people coming back year after year for its blend of kitsch, handicrafts, upscale artwork and local vendors and artists. One of the largest outdoor art festivals in the country, the festival is held each year on President's Day weekend. Enjoy live music, food by local chefs and, of course, lots of great art. Be sure to stop by Regatta Park for family-friendly activations and experiences to make some art of your own. Check out the work of more than 300 international artists in the eclectic seaside village of Coconut Grove. Tickets start at $15 and there’s a $5 discount for residents. Proceeds go towards scholarships to students who attend fine arts programs at local schools.
