The City of Pasadena is off to a great 2020. As our team prepares for the annual State of the City Address, I am reminded how blessed we are as a community and how much has been accomplished in just the last year. As we move forward with infrastructure and mobility plans for 2020, we’re asking for your input with our Livable Centers Study. Pasadena is one of the latest recipients to embark on this prestigious study in conjunction with the Houston-Galveston Area Council.
The goal of the Livable Centers Study is to tie together existing plans, build upon past and current infrastructure improvements and improve pedestrian/ bike/greenspace amenities in a designated area of Historic Pasadena. Everyone is welcome to attend the public meetings and take our survey at:
I’m also pleased to announce an informational workshop regarding the possibility of micro-transit services for our city. Micro-transit agencies operate small-scale, on-demand public transportation options through both fixed routes and schedules, as well as on-demand scheduling and flexible routes. This workshop will inform and educate city council on the possible benefits of this system for Pasadena.
With your help and vision, our city will continue to grow in redevelopment and new business opportunities. Thank you for your dedication to our community!
