A wonderful event is planned with a new venue and a fun vibe. 
If you like to mingle and move, there will high boys and open seating for $150 a ticket. If you prefer a home base for the evening, you can reserve a table for yourself and your guests. Premium Seating Options are available for reserved tables of 4, 6 or 10. 
RSVP by January 30, 2020.

We have wonderful items available for bidding on our Silent Auction and we look forward to a successful event as we raise money for Resurrection College Prep High School!  Online bidding will be open Friday, February 7 until 10:30 pm Saturday, February 8, 2020, and will be available for both attendees and participants who are bidding at home! 

 ~ New this year! Student Sign-up Parties ~  
Two special opportunities for students will be available in conjunction with our online bidding for the Gala ~ a Heated Yoga Class with Coach Molly at Corepower Yoga in Park Ridge on February 17, 2020,  AND a Cinco de Mayo Party in the large courtyard during lunches on "Taco Tuesday," May 5, 2020.

Gala Raffles

Two special raffle drawings will be held at the Charity & Truth Gala on February 8, 2020,
and the winner need not be present.

Country Thunder Raffle
Take a chance to win two 4-day general admission passes to the Country Thunder Music Festival in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin (July 16-18, 2020). The price is $20 for one ticket or $30 for two! Tickets will be emailed to the winner in June.  Special thanks to the families of Resurrection athletic teams for supporting the Gala with donations that have made this raffle possible!

Celebrating Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week ( January 26 to February 1, 2020) was an opportunity for the
 Resurrection school community to celebrate the past, present and future of our school. Check out all of the activities and themes for the week HERE. Leading up to Catholic Schools Week, we welcomed Cardinal Cupich on January 23, 2020, for a special Liturgy where we honored the Sisters of the Resurrection for their 98 years of vision, dedication and leadership. We also showed our appreciation to the Christian Brothers of the Midwest as they prepare to assume the sponsorship of Resurrection College Prep. View photos from the Mass with Cardinal Cupich HERE.

Honor Roll 

Congratulations to students on the 2019-20 First Semester Honor Roll! 

Students listed on the Honor Roll may pick up an Honor Roll window cling at the Main Office.

2020-21 Course Selection & Registration

Students and parents of juniors, sophomores, and juniors can review course offerings listed in the 2020-21 Curriculum Guide.
Students have until February 7 to submit course registration via Schoology . Students will then receive printed copies of their registrations to bring home for parent/guardian signatures. Signed registration forms must be returned to Resurrection by March 6

Resurrection Athletics

Come cheer on the Bandits Basketball & Bowling teams as they wrap up their seasons!

Congratulations to the Bandits Bowling team on winning the GCAC Championship this past weekend and good luck as they go on to the next level!

Congratulations also to the  Resurrection Basketball program on hosting a successful series of Special Appreciation Nights at their home games this season! Come out this Thursday, February 6 for the final home game, honoring the Sisters of the Resurrection! Varsity tip-off is scheduled for 7 pm.

Register Spring Sports Be sure to register for spring sports tryouts HERE  and ensure you have a current physical on file. Your daughter cannot try out for a spring sports team until these two items are completed.

Winter Sports Banquet - Friday, March 6 -  The winter sports banquet will be March 6, 2020, at 6:00 pm at White Eagle Banquets in Niles. Watch for  information to come about how to RSVP.

Theatre Fest & Spring Play

Twenty Resurrection theatre students attended the Illinois Theatre Fest whcih was held January 9 to 11, 2020, at Illinois State University. The festival is the largest and oldest non-competitive high school theatre festival in the nation and participants come together to put on over 25 different high school productions and over 150 workshops. 

Resurrection seniors auditioned for college fine arts scholarships during Theatre Fest for 35 school theatre department representatives and received a collective total of 76 callback offers! Congratulations to Resurrection seniors Lily Barger, Shannon Ranalli, Alyssa Esposito, Natalie Shamon, and Caroline Byrne  on these amazing offers!

Spring Play - Game of Tiaras

At last week's Pep Rally, the Resurrection drama department presented a preview of the spring play,  Game of Tiaras, a farcical adaptation of King Lear in which the aging king of a Magical Kingdom decides to split his empire between his three daughters, Cinderella, Belle, and the Snow Queen (who in no way resembles the copyrighted character!) 

Save the dates to catch this hysterical show!

Performances will take place March 12-15, 2020.

Father/Daughter Bags Tournament Winners

Congratulations to the winners from Father/Daughter Bags Tournament hosted by the Resurrection Parents Club on January 26, 2020! The first-place winners were Gianna Morales & Lou Carre and the second-place winners were Kendall Rieman & Rick Rieman.

Christianity and Discipleship 
in our Postmodern World

All adults are welcome to join Resurrection faculty member  Mr. Mike Longo for a winter/spring adult spirituality course.  The course will explore the world in which Jesus was born, lived and died in order to help us  understand what it means to follow Jesus in our multicultural society. The books for the course include the following:  The Universal Christ  by Richard Rohr and  Jesus: A Very Brief History  by Helen Bond. 

Alumnae Career Day Panels
February 27 & 28, 2020

Alumnae will be participating in our annual Alumnae Career Day panels on Thursday and Friday, February 27 & 28, 2020. Junior and senior students will have the opportunity to hear from alumnae about their educational and career paths on the days of the alumnae career panels. 

Spring Arts & Crafts Fair
Saturday, March 7, 2020
10 am to 3 pm 
All are welcome to shop from over 130 crafters and vendors for unique Mother's Day gifts, spring seasonal items, housewares, jewelry and tasty treats.
Admission for this school fundraising event:
$5 for adults, $2 for seniors and free for children under age 10.
