There are currently 4 kind of kits to choose from:
In partnership with Lethbridge Plays, Winter Fun Kits include all the supplies and instructions you need to have fun being active this winter, indoors and outdoors. There are 3 Winter Fun Kits (all the same)
These kits include the equipment & instructions to introduce you to baseball, softball, lacrosse, rugby, badminton & ultimate (frisbee) (Kit 1) and soccer, basketball, tennis, & football (Kit 2).
This kit is an Olympic themed experience! Choose from 25 different Olympic sports and use the supplied equipment and instructions to get moving and have fun!
Our Multicultural Sport kits include the equipment and instructions to try out and play a variety of activities with roots from all over the world!
New Resource - Sport and Active Recreation Fee Assistance Program
The cost of sport is a common barrier for many families looking to get active. To aid this issue we have created a new resource which currently has three financial assistance resources on it. We hope these programs can afford everyone better access to sport.
Free, virtual conference for students who want to learn about working in the sports industry. On Wednesday March 3rd, join students across Canada for CBC Sports U: a free virtual summit geared towards students who want to learn more about the sports industry and what it is like to work within it.

Play Summit 2021
We were proud to have our very own Tanya Whipple and Shawn Daye-Finley among the presenter's at this year's virtual edition of the Play Summit. Tanya and Shawn presented on "Play can be Simple" highlighting the Fun bins and Sport Exploration Kits. Recordings of this year's presentations will be available to the public in the future. The Healthy Communities Initiative supports communities as they create and adapt public spaces, and programming and services for public spaces to respond to ongoing needs arising from COVID-19 over the next two years. This $31 million investment from the Government of Canada will fund small-scale infrastructure projects to create safer, more vibrant and inclusive communities. Community Foundations of Canada (CFC) and its network are working alongside the Canadian Urban Institute (CUI) and other partners to deliver the Healthy Communities Initiative locally
Thanks to a generous gift of $12 million from Canadian Tire Corporation to the Sport Relief Fund, Jumpstart is able to continue to provide much needed financial support to sport organizations to help build back sport and play through 2021.
In a year filled with postponements and cancellations we are proud to announce the selection of Lethbridge as the host of the 2022 edition of the world's most famous national curling championship. With the announcement Lethbridge becomes just the fourth city to host all 4 major "Season of Champions" events (i.e. the Tim Hortons Brier, Scotties Tournament of Hearts, World Men's Championship and the World Women's Championship).
