Join us at Keizer Clear UMC for our Shrove Tuesday Pancake feed from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25 at Friendship Hall. Pancakes, ham, and applesauce will be served. There is no set price for the meal, but donations go to the Nurture and Care Committee, who facilitates this event.

Open Door Churches
Board Meeting Minutes
The next Board Meeting will be at First UMC Salem on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 6:00 pm.

  • Trinity UMC has two representatives on the Board - Ann Jeffries and Kathy Webb. Pat Gillespie is the Open Door Churches Board Treasurer. If you have questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact one of these representatives.

Open Door Churches Bible Study
Thursdays, 6:30 p.m. at Keizer Clear Lake UMC
7920 Wheatland Road North.

Bring your own Bible and join others in a great study focusing on the scripture which will serve as the focus for worship in all the Open Door Churches for the upcoming Sunday. Led by Pastor Alyssa Baker and Maddy Hickerson, this promises to be a great opportunity to ground yourself in the scriptures used in worship.

Young Adults
Open Door Young Adults Schedule
Meet on Wednesdays from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m..

  • The Open Door Churches Young Adult Group is made up of college students and young professionals ranging in age from 18-29 who are exploring questions of faith together. The group meets every Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

In January, the Open Door Church Young Adult Group took time to reflect on 2019 and look forward to 2020. Together they shared their favorite moments of Young Adult Group in 2019 and talked about what they would like to do in 2020. They are looking forward to more faith discussions and time of fellowship with one another.

The Open door Young Adults meet weekly on Wednesday evenings.

  • February 15-17 - Winter Retreat @ Suttle Lake: Our Open Door Youth Group will once again have the opportunity to participate in the conference winter retreat at Suttle Lake. This is always one of the highlights of our program year. Join us for fun, games, inter tubing (if we have snow), and a chance to meet youth from other churches and grow in our faith. Cost is $50 per person. If you would like to sign up let Jeff know by December 15th and make your check payable to "Open Door Youth"
