FEBRUARY UPDATES
CONFERENCES: Wednesday, February 26 & Monday, March 2nd

Term 3 conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, February 26th and Monday, March 2nd The online scheduler will open on Friday, February 14 at 6:00 pm and close on Sunday, February 23rd at 11:55 pm. If you are unable to access the online scheduler, a Written Request may be completed and returned to the high school by Thursday, February 13.

 Conferences are located in the Main/South Commons, Student Support Services offices, Media Center, and Work Experience room. They are scheduled in 8-minute time slots with two minutes passing time in between. Limited drop-in times may be available for some teachers.

Community Conversation around School Start/End Times, Thursday, February 6

Eden Prairie Schools invites parents/guardians, students and staff to participate in a facilitated conversation around start and end times across our district. The Feb. 6 meeting will take place from 6-8 p.m. will take place at Eden Prairie City Center, 8080 Mitchell Rd., in the Heritage Rooms. Your  RSVP   is requested for planning purposes. 
 
Following a presentation, attendees will participate in a   world café   format discussion.

Additional community sessions will be conducted on Mar. 12, April 9, April 21 and May 14. All of these meeting will take place from 6-8 p.m.
Test Drive...Next Stop Reality is Wednesday, February 12 th

With an expected salary in hand, students enter the event and attend each of 21 different stations representing categories such as housing, utilities, transportation, childcare, and insurance. Students will be expected to visit each station and volunteers will teach them about the topic and guide them through the different options based on their lifestyle and budget. They will also be given random family assignments (married with no children, single with one child, etc.).

We still need volunteers to provide guidance and direction at each of the stations. No experience is required.
