The Difference Maker, Madison Quinn '23
Madison Quinn '23 was 13 when she decided to make a difference for children struggling with cancer. About a year later, she created Strong Little Souls, which provides care packages, financial and emotional support to kids and their families.
"It is a feeling I can't put into words — but it is powerful, and it keeps me going."
— Madison Quinn, on the work her nonprofit, Strong Little Souls, does for children battling cancer.
Quinn, now 19, received a nod recently from the New England Patriots for helping children diagnosed with cancer. The Patriots honored Quinn with the team’s Difference Maker of the Week Award, which celebrates volunteerism. The award comes with a $5,000 donation to the nonprofit.

Sister of St. Joseph Eleanor Dooley, who taught for more than 30 years at the College of Our Lady of the Elms in Chicopee died January 21, 2021.

On-Line Weekly Mass Continues for the Spring Semester
Weekly Mass is celebrated with Father Mark on YouTube from St. Joseph Chapel in Berchmans Hall. This has been a blessing during this unprecedented public health crisis. We have heard from alumni, who live near and far, about how much they have enjoyed these Masses. Many feel more connected to the College of Our Lady of the Elms.
The college plans for these recordings to continue until regular on-campus Masses can return. Masses are posted at 4 pm on Saturdays on the college's YouTube channel and the Elms College Facebook page. Join us this week!
