2021 Congregational Leadership Conference - Deadline Today
The Diocese will host a Congregational Leadership Conference (formerly known as the "Wardens and Treasurers" conference) via Zoom on Feb. 13, 10 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. CT (9 a.m. - 11 a.m. ET). Registration deadline is 11:59 pm tonight, Friday, February 5th.
This free diocesan event is open to all vestry members (new and experienced), treasurers, stewardship chairs, clergy, audit committee members, and any other congregational leaders interested in this opportunity to share, discover, and learn best practices for the health and growth of our congregations. The conference will include plenary sessions for all congregational leadership in the morning, and various topical breakout room workshop components in the afternoon.

The agenda will cover a variety of essential items. (Including: Vestry best practices/responsibilities, D&O insurance, church safety, diocesan and TEC canons, by-laws of TEC, T&C, and churches leadership and management principles, parochial reports, financial reviews, audits, financial best practices/oversight, exemptions, annual filing fees, property tax not automatically exempt with PVA, stewardship, and annual giving campaigns)

Whole and Healthy Church
As the new year begins, new vestries are being elected. All vestry members are required to complete Whole and Healthy Church training. Here is a list of others who also need to be trained every 2 years.
On Sunday February 21st at 2 pm est/1 pm cst, The Very Rev. Katherine Doyle will lead an online training for Whole and Healthy Church via zoom (formerly known as Safeguarding). The online training will take 2-3 hours depending on questions. Please register here.

The Episcopal Church and the Northern and Southern Provinces of the Moravian Church celebrate 10th anniversary of full communion
Watch service on February 10
On Wednesday, February 10 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, Episcopalians, Moravians, and friends are invited to gather for a 10th Anniversary Celebration of Full Communion between The Episcopal Church and the Northern and Southern Provinces of the Moravian Church. While the welcome will be offered from Central Moravian Church by the co-chairs of the Moravian-Episcopal Coordinating Committee (MECC), the virtual service will include worship leaders from various places where Moravians and Episcopalians live and serve. Online Conference from Project Resource
Project Resource, a Ministry of the College for Bishops, is offering a six-week conference, meeting weekly, to address stewardship and theology in the Episcopal Church. Project Resource is not a curriculum. It is a way of understanding stewardship as a ministry, essential for the spiritual health of individuals and communities. It is a way of learning to be in right relationship to the resources in our hands.
Sundays, April 18 to May 23, Online via Zoom
2:00 to 3:30 pm PT / 3:00 to 4:30 pm MT / 4:00 to 5:30 pm CT / 5:00 to 6:30 pm ET
Cost is $450 for a team of 3 participants; $125 for each additional participant.
