CancerCare for Kids' Holiday Programs

In 2020, CancerCare for Kids offered a variety of holiday programs for children and teens who are affected by cancer, including the Winter Warmth Program, the Winter Wonderland Gift Program and the Holiday Gift Card Program. These programs supplied children and teens with cold weather essentials and gifts this past holiday season.

Thank You Primrose Preschool

For several years, the Primrose Preschool in Holly Springs, North Carolina, has donated to CancerCare. When asked why they support CancerCare, they said, “We hope these funds help in some small way to support those fighting this awful disease.” This year, just in time for the holidays, 170 preschoolers worked diligently to make creatively carved and hand-painted pumpkins to sell at a silent auction and put them up for bidding among the parents. All of the proceeds raised went to support cancer charities. In total, the preschoolers raised $604 for CancerCare! We are blown away by the hard work and kindness of some of CancerCare’s youngest supporters. We are grateful for this community and their dedication to our work.
