It's here! The 8th Native Prairie Restoration/Reclamation Workshop is finally here! We've only had one great day so far so we'll give a full update in the March newsletter. Also, Happy World Wetland Day!
In case you missed our January webinars, we had Shayna Hamilton, MSc Candidate at the University of Regina discuss Prussian carp and Shelley Pruss, Species Conservation Ecologist, with Parks Canada discuss Mormon Metalmark butterflies. The recordings of the presentations are available on our YouTube Channel!
Our February Native Prairie Speaker Series presentation is about sage grouse! We will have Lorelle Berkeley, Research Wildlife Biologist, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks talk about grazing and sage grouse.
Caitlin is also lining up a great set of webinar for our Prairie's Got the Goods Week! You can find more information and register for the webinars here!
And finally, we would like to thank our sponsors for their generous support : Camp Wolf Willow, EcoFriendly Sask, K+S Potash, Pembina Pipelines, Ranchers Stewardship Alliance Inc, Saskatchewan Cattlemen's Association, SaskPower, SaskTel, Wildlife Habitat Canada and Environment and Climate Change Canada, as well as the continuous support of all the PCAP Partners.

We have over 270 people registered for the 8th Native Prairie Restoration/Reclamation Workshop this week! It's off to a great start, we have 27 presentations lined up, 15 planned topic-focused discussion groups, 2 case studies, 10 posters, 9 tradeshow booths and one panel discussion. There have been a few challenges putting our first virtual workshop together, learning the the back end of the virtual platform, learning new webinar software and a new payment system. The theme: "Restoration and Reclamation in a Changing Environment: Adapting to Change, Building Resilience" was fitting for the event, particularly for PCAP staff. We'll provide a full review of the event in our March newsletter.
A big thank you to our sponsors, trade show participants, speakers and everyone participating in the workshop. We appreciate your support and contributions!
