Annual surveys due March 2
Each year, Wisconsin Clean Cities collects data from stakeholders & produces a coalition report. The report reflects all the outstanding work taking place in Wisconsin & can be used to promote our coalition & our region while providing opportunities for funding sustainable transportation projects. The surveys are also used to determine awards at our annual stakeholder meeting! Help us showcase all the activity taking place by telling us about your efforts to reduce petroleum consumption & greenhouse gas emissions. All WCC members, partners & stakeholders should complete the survey. You may download the survey here. Please return your fleet’s data via the Excel spreadsheet by email to Kelly Verbeke.

Featured Fuel: Propane
Propane, also known as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG or LP-gas) or autogas, has been used worldwide as a vehicle fuel for decades. Stored under pressure inside a tank, propane turns into a colorless, odorless liquid. As pressure is released, the liquid propane vaporizes and turns into gas that is used for combustion. An odorant, ethyl mercaptan, is added for leak detection. Propane has a high octane rating and excellent properties for spark-ignited internal combustion engines. Propane is produced as a by-product of natural gas processing and crude oil refining. It accounts for about 2 percent of the energy used in the U.S.
